Hexagonal packaging


This is some good hexagonal packaging. Fly eyes have natural hexagons. This is shown under a colour electron microscope.






Liver lobules are also naturally hexagonally packaged. This shows one lobule of many and at the bottom left of the diagram it shows how they are packed together to make the liver.







These rocks are another example of hexagonal packaging in nature.
